Campus network and secure access
An integrated reference approach to wired access, wireless coverage and controlled access for offices, campuses and mixed operational environments.
Architecture and delivery scope
Site inventory — collect floor plans, user numbers, device types, application requirements and existing cabling and racks.
Wired access — size port counts, uplinks and PoE budgets, then verify exact switch models, modules, power supplies and software versions.
Wireless coverage — survey coverage, density and interference; confirm regional access point variants, permitted bands and management support.
Access policies — define employee, guest and operational segments, identity checks, administration rights and external access boundaries.
Continuity — choose the required redundancy and agree recovery behaviour, configuration backups and a tested change process.
Delivery scope — document equipment, licenses, cabling, configuration, testing and the division of responsibility with the existing IT team.
Acceptance — verify wired links, agreed wireless survey points, policy enforcement and recovery. Product families are candidates, not a pre-validated equipment combination.
